Armley Festival is always a great community event, and this year was no exception! Getting Clean assisted in the running of the festival, which involved being part of the planning process as well as organising litter collection teams on the day.
We had a team of 14 Getting Clean members onsite volunteering their time litter picking and hosting a stall. We sold nearly 100 bars of our life changing, crime reducing, beautiful smelling Soap with Hope! Our stall also gave us a great opportunity to engage with the local community, talk about our goals at Getting Clean, and change perceptions of addiction recovery.
We were delighted to contribute to a successful, vibrant event!
